DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION: Features :

Head : The head is integrally casted from heavy duty closed grain cast-iron. The quill carrying spindle is precisely ground to slide in precisely burnished bore. The head can be raised, lowered or swung to any required position by releasing the locking device. A safety ring is provided to prevent accidental unlocking.
Drive : The splined spindle in deep-grooved ball bearings is driven by an electric motor through V-Belt of four step pulley properly balanced to prevent vibrations. The additional four speeds are obtained from the gear set. The gears mounted on ball bearings rotate in self-lubricating sintered brushes housed in four step pulley. The gears are made on gear hobbling from best quality materials.
Feed : The hand operated sensible feed is measured by a calibrated feed depth gauge. The quick return of spindle is archived by a coiled spring on cross handle.
Table : Properly machined square/round table is provided with T Slots and can be adjusted vertically by means of rack pinion mechanism. The table runout is 30-40 microns at right angle.

Features :

Gears are made of S.G. Iron.
Spindle runout at final testing is 10-20 microns.
Drill head and arm are bored to a very closed tolerance
Main Gears, Spindle, Pulley & Motor Pulley are perfectly balanced, to avoid Vibration.
Columns are made of seamless and grinded steel tube.
Hardened and Ground Alloy Steel Spindle.
Spindle with taper bore is also internally grinded.
Spindle approx. runout to tolerance as per IS:2425.
Casting Grade:25
Hardened: 200 BHN.
